The ‘Next Generation’ jewellery consists of plastic copies of golden jewels from an inheritance. It’s a bold reversal because I’m negating the intrinsic value of the precious metal and therefore appear to be doing the same with that of the heirloom.
But the atmosphere of the soft, rough and sometimes rugged plastic is much more about the personality of the person who left these pieces and how they are remembered.
